Did you ever hear of a “Techtelmechtel” in Berlin? No? So much can be revealed: it has to do with interpersonal relationships. This is just one of the many topics of the B1 German course. Eight weeks, four days per week, four lessons per day, plus homework. And all in B1 German. If this is not a B1 intensive course, then what is? We are pretty much offering you German B1 as a pure distillate.

 

In order to create a productive and pleasant learning environment, our B1 courses have an average of only 12 people per class. Of course, there is also a highly-qualified and enthusiastic German teacher who will guide you through the 12 German B1 lessons of the textbook Netzwerk neu. Deutsch als Fremdsprache B1 (Klett-Verlag). If you like, you can also take a B1 exam at the end of the course and receive an internationally-recognised B1 German certificate from our deutSCHule in Berlin.

Raise your level: B1 German in Berlin

Of course, more complex sentence structures also await you when it comes to question and answer sentences. This will bring a whole lot more variety to your daily conversations in Berlin. And don’t be afraid of mistakes! Because as Thomas A. Edison, the inventor of the light bulb, said: “I have not failed. I have just found 10000 ways that don’t work.” And he never even reached the German B1 level. Language level German B1

According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, German B1 enables you to deal with most situations when travelling in the German-speaking world. You can follow a general conversation in clearly-spoken standard German and take part in it when it comes to familiar topics. If you successfully complete our B1 German course, your vocabulary and grammar will already allow you to use the language at an advanced level.

Furthermore, our German B1 course in Berlin can be divided into German B1.1 and German B1.2. So if you are aiming for a German B2 course, but still have some uncertainties and roadblocks to overcome, then maybe German B1.2 would be the right place to start for you.
