Applying for insurance
When you come to Germany, you must have health insurance. And that’s a good thing. The need for medical help, medication or even the need to be treated in a hospital can happen quickly, and it can be expensive. You should be aware that the costs for medical care in Germany are among the highest in the world.
Therefore, if you apply for a visa to enter Germany, you must also prove that you have travel health insurance for the duration of your stay in Germany. As a language student, you can take out a special health insurance through our cooperative partners. This offers protection against any costs that may arise from an illness or an accident – at a reasonable price.
